MRM began operations 28 years ago and has been engaged solely in crew recruitment and management for over the 20 years. This background is the solid foundation upon which MRM uses its skillset, competency, knowledge and resources to provide day to day quality oriented Crew Management servces.

Our long experience with major tanker owners, oil majors and charterers equips us to meet the exacting and high standards demanded by stakeholders in the global specialised tanker operations for seagoing personnel. As a result of experience in this field with continuous operations, we are the only company in Malaysia focused solely on Crew Management services.

Our Crew Management services are built on adopting a truly holistic approach to marine human resource management. We do not just recruit, process and send seafarers on board vessels. Our seafarers are selected for a vessel through rigorous compatibility and competency assessments. Seafarers are particularly assessed for their ability to maintain their performance and productivity for the duration of each tour of duty on board.

Close relationships and on-going relationships with our seafarers on-board vessels, the care of their families, additional skills training, career development and welfare support programs mark the key attributes of our holistic crew management approach. Our seafarer focused approach has provided us with a high degree of loyalty and dedication by seafarers to each of our company’s clients and its vessels. This is evidenced by many of our seafarers achieving over 15 years or more with the company.

Our shore based staff have all served with the company for several years providing clients with a wealth of knowledge, experience, consistency and critically, the ability to understand and respond to each client's specific needs promptly.

Whilst we specialise in providing highly trained and reliable sea-going personnel for tanker and offshore vessels, we also possess abundant resources, systems and skill sets to provide personnel for bulk carriers, container vessels and cruise vessels. We have a history of successfully managing crewing needs for such vessels.
